About us

EUREF Event: #EventsoftheFuture

At the EUREF campuses in Berlin and Düsseldorf, we create experiences that shape the future of the event industry with innovative locations and tailor-made event solutions.

In Berlin, we organize over 600 events for up to 3,000 guests every year. From fall 2025, the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf will complement our portfolio with modern, flexible spaces for events, directly at Düsseldorf Airport – ideal for national and international events.

The campuses set standards in sustainable event management:

Climate-neutral energy supply, intelligent energy networks and energy-efficient buildings create the perfect backdrop for events on the topics of energy, mobility and climate protection.

Sustainability characterizes our work – ecologically, economically, socially and culturally. As a certified Sustainable Berlin Partner, we are constantly working on new, sustainable standards for the event industry.

Event Location+

The EUREF-Campuses Berlin and Düsseldorf offer far more than just event spaces – they combine innovative architecture, sustainable infrastructure and forward-looking event concepts. The “+” stands for our added value: as creative hubs for energy, mobility and climate protection, they create an inspiring atmosphere for events that bring innovation and sustainability to life.

The IDEA of EUREF

The IDEA of EUREF

EUREF stands for European Energy Forum and is the vision of a sustainable, intelligently networked urban district. The EUREF-Campus in Berlin serves as a real-life laboratory for the energy transition and shows how urban spaces can be made climate-neutral. Here, companies, scientists and start-ups are working on innovative solutions for energy, mobility and climate protection.

The idea behind it: Shaping a future in which economic efficiency and climate protection go hand in hand – and not as a theoretical model, but as a lived reality. The campus is a place of exchange, inspiration and practice.

OUR HISTORy

OUR HISTORy

What was once a disused industrial site is now a symbol of the urban energy transition. From the very beginning, it was our responsibility to preserve the listed buildings and give them a new lease of life. As soon as we took our first look at the gasometer, it was clear: something has to happen here with energy!

16 years later, the vision has become reality – an innovative future location that has been meeting the 2045 climate targets since 2014. The EUREF-Campus shows how sustainability, architecture and innovation form a unity.

And the success story continues: with the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf, we are continuing our vision – a second pioneering location is being created directly at Düsseldorf Airport, heralding a new era as a real laboratory for the energy transition and sustainable urban development.
