Declaration on accessibility

EUREF-Event GmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the applicable regulations on accessibility, in particular the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is currently partially accessible. We are continuously working to identify and reduce existing barriers. This includes automated and manual tests.

What we have already implemented:
When creating this website, we followed the recognized accessibility standards, in particular the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA:

Clear, consistent structuring of content by means of correctly used headings and semantic markup
Use of sufficiently large and legible font sizes
Use of sufficient color contrasts between texts and backgrounds
Responsive design for use on different end devices
Content is correctly labeled and accessible in several languages
Forms and interactive elements can be operated and labeled using a keyboard
Focus guides are visible to enable orientation with the keyboard
No automatic movements or flashing content

What we are still working on:
Despite our efforts to create an accessible website, some points are still being worked on:

Not all images currently have a meaningful alternative attribute.
Some embedded videos do not yet have subtitles or transcripts.
Other minor barriers may exist in individual cases.
