Day of Indutry on the EUREF-Campus – Looking back on two special years
The Day of Industry (TDI), the BDI’s international conference on the future, brought together leading voices from business, politics, science and society at the EUREF-Campus Berlin in 2024 and 2025.
In 2024, the TDI took place for the first time on the EUREF-Campus – with over 1,000 decision-makers and high-profile guests such as Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck and CDU Chairman Friedrich Merz. A special highlight was the event premiere in the Gasometer. The adjacent EUREF-Plaza was transformed into a summery, multifunctional outdoor area and offered space for networking and informal discussions.
In 2025, the TDI returned to the campus – bigger, more diverse and with even more participants: Over 1,500 decision-makers discussed with Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, EU Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič, Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil and Federal Ministers Dorothee Bär and Karsten Wildberger, among others. The conference’s star guest, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, caused a worldwide sensation.
Discussion rounds in the Gasometer, specialist formats in the Audimax in the Wasserturm, interactive presentations on the EUREF-Plaza and dialog-oriented formats in the BASE and in the Gasometer SKY made the EUREF-Campus the ideal host for forward-looking discussions and industrial policy impulses in its second year.
