EUREF-CAMPUS BERLIN: Pioneer of sustainability
Sustainability is the foundation of everything we do. Since 2008, the campus, with its landmark, the iconic Berlin Schöneberg Gasometer, has been successfully demonstrating its sustainable vision: with a climate-neutral energy supply, energy-efficient buildings, and smart energy technologies, the campus has been meeting the German government’s climate targets for 2045 since 2014.

The EUREF-Campus Berlin has been meeting the German government's climate targets for 2045 since 2014.
CO₂-neutral energy supply
The entire energy supply on the campus is CO₂-neutral. Our own bio-cogeneration plant with certified biomethane supplies all buildings with climate-neutral electricity, heating and cooling – sustainable, efficient and forward-looking.

The EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf will open its doors as EUREF AG’s second innovation campus in 2024. With its modern approach to sustainable architecture, innovative energy storage systems and the consistent use of renewable energies, this location also meets the climate targets for 2045 – a showcase for the energy transition right from the start.

Pioneering location in terms of climate targets
The EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf is supplied with CO₂-neutral energy and actively contributes to the climate goals of Düsseldorf and Germany.
CO₂-neutral energy from the quarry lake
We generate CO₂-neutral energy through the thermal utilization of the adjacent Lichtenbroicher Baggersee, a gigantic heat reservoir that supplies both heat in winter and cold in summer using highly efficient heat pumps. Learn more.

The EUREF dome, once in the Gasometer, has now found its third life as an upcycling landmark on the Düsseldorf campus.

The quality is convincing – she cooks without unnecessary chichi. Poletto’s mission: to whet the appetite for enjoyment with seasonal products from sustainable agriculture.
